Deliberate Cold Exposure (Part 1)

Why?

Benefits of consistent cold immersion (read: DAILY cold showers) include:

How?

  • After your “normal” shower, turn the dial STRAIGHT TO FULL COLD.
  • Hang out there (30sec is a good start, 2mins is gold)
  • Breathe calmly in and out of your nose.
  • You do NOT need to submerge your head
  • Remember to give equal time to the front and back of your body – don’t fear it, let the body receive the cold from all angles
  • You DO need to make sure you hit the vagus nerve (important!)

Stay with it, stay with the breath. Reap the rewards.
