The easiest way to get your veggies in each day is to add them to all meals.
Starting with a Savoury Breakfast! Get your day off to a wicked start.
This literally takes 5-10mins tops, no need to prep too much or to organize too much.
How do you do it?
- In a pan pour a small amount of oil – fry up a tomato, crushed garlic, spring onion, and greens of your choice (spinach, kale, silverbeet, rocket).
- In a saucepan poach 2 eggs for 3mins. Don’t fuss around with this, just boil up the water, bring down to a medium heat and pop them in. Simple!
- Place on top of veggie mix, add salt and pepper, and… Voila! Perfect morning meal!
Pair this with a piece of fruit, or small piece of grainy bread with a spoonful of nut butter for extra carbs and fats if you would like.

These key principles still remain the same:
- Lots of Veggies
- Protein (2-3 eggs)
- Add a small amount of additional carbs if you like (small piece of toast, porridge, fruit) *Remember, veggies are carbs too 🙂
