Sleep on it.

So simple, yet so powerful.

If I’m being honest, this one took me a little while to perfect… But I think we’re getting there 😉

It’s very easy to make a rash decision, to respond or react quickly to something that bothers us.

Instead, what I ask you is for JUST ONE NIGHT.

If something is bothering you, or you have a big decision to make… just sleep on it.

If you feel the same in the morning – there’s your decision.

If you don’t – hmmm… you have more things to contemplate! (…and aren’t you happy you did?!)

There are several good reasons for this advice, mainly:

  • The longer your day goes on, the lesser your ability to make the most “rational” decision in the moment
  • Let your subconscious work on it for you
  • Gives your issue/problem/challenge some SPACE
  • Allows you TIME to evaluate all of the facts and get some breathing room
  • New perspective in the morning always comes with the rising sun
